Minibus Permits. The Section 19 Permit system is changing!

"The Department of Transport has stated that the Section 19 Permit system is changing. This is the permit for minibuses owned by wholly not-for-profit organisations i.e. churches, for transporting people whom they are seeking to assist. The main changes are:
1) Permits will be valid only for up to 5 years and not permanent as they are now. The old permits will be phased out by April 2014
2) The lower limit which used to be 9 passengers will be relaxed to allow smaller vehicles to be used under a section 19 permit.
Anyone wishing to get such a permit can obtain them from Grace Baptist Charities Ltd, 7 Arlington Way, London EC1R 1XA at a cost of £11 per permit."
